Kingfisher House Steps to Safely Return to Work
What are we doing to help prevent COVID-19?
As the whole world has been turned upside down due to COVID-19, it has made us stop and think about how we approach the day to day of office life. Below we have issued our steps and guidelines below to help keep a safe working environment.
If you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell, please stay at home.
Let Us Know
If you or anybody in your office develop any symptoms, then please go home to help protect the building.
We have increased the frequency of cleaning during the day, focusing on high touchpoint areas, surface, and workspace cleaning to meet global health and safety regulations.
We have taken the principles of physical distancing and adapted them for the workplace. This includes how people move around our centre, with clear information, signage, and protocols in place to ensure minimal person-to-person contact.
Our centre has detailed health and safety guidelines on display in key strategic locations. These guidelines support and remind our visitors and customers on how to conduct business in the safest possible manner.
In order to make sure that our customers can continue to use our meeting rooms in accordance with health and safety guidelines, we have established a meeting room safety protocol. This protocol encompasses the use of spaced seating arrangements to allow for physical distancing, moving around clockwise, and maintaining a safe distance for catering – all indicated with signage.
There may be queues in kitchens as there are social distancing restrictions in place, why not think about staggering break and lunch times, to avoid peaks. We have made changes within each kitchen to help the kitchens to remain a safe and hygienic area.
Hand Sanitising Stations
We have installed dispensers at every entrance and exit to the centre as well as in kitchens and communal areas, please keep using them throughout the day.
Toilets & Lifts
Please observe social distancing and be respectful to others when using toilets and lifts. There may be queues, so please be patient.
Maintaining social distancing in communal areas is particularly important, so we have removed and restricted communal seating in reception and other spaces throughout the centre.
